Milford Meets Manhattan!

Milford Centre: Kagi

Kagi’s Autumn Collection reflects a New York state of mind...

Shining brightly at the heart of Milford Centre, Kagi is a magnet to jewellery lovers. Acclaimed jewellery designer Kat Gee began Kagi in 2006 with a dream to create designer jewellery that was boldly feminine and unique, and allowed women the freedom to style it their own way.

Kagi’s Autumn 15 collection was inspired by the bustling New York metropolis.  Kat says: "New York epitomises classic style, sophistication and contemporary chic city life. I fell in love after a recent visit and wanted to capture its thriving, cosmopolitan essence in my latest collection. From Manhattan skyscrapers to the bright lights of Times Square - who doesn’t love a memorable New York moment?’’ Now Milford shoppers can take home their piece of the Big Apple with stunning items from the latest range.

Inspired by the lights of New York’s famed skyline, this collection dazzles sparkles and shines. Designed to capture the essence of New York; cocktails at sunset in Soho, people observing in Times Square, coffee in Central park or romance on top of the Empire State Building....you can have a New York moment every day!

Also launching is a Black Luxe story. This update features hand facetted Haematite in a variety of sizes, a perfect way to refresh your black winter wardrobe.
Haematite is truly a miracle gemstone, this stone empowers confidence in the wearer, giving you courage, strength and vivacity.

Retail manager at the Milford site Matoula Piskopani shines as brightly as the Kagi range, with a warm smile and welcoming, exemplary service. She said: "One of the main attributes I love about Kagi is it's innovative spirit; the combination of classic style with highly fashionable items.  Gems have always been valued as exquisite items, not only because of their beauty, but also for the properties they carry. I enjoy working with women closely to find what makes them special, whilst accentuating their character through wearing the jewellery. I love the art of revealing every woman's personality, and discovering her true essence through styling."

Kagi founder and director, Kat was inspired by the bravery of her Grandma to follow her dreams and understood from an early age just how special jewellery can be. She said:

"As a child I grew up hearing stories of how my Grandma hid a strand of pearls in her undergarments for three years in a concentration camp during World War II. These pearls, and my grandma survived the war and the pearls are still in my family today. They signify to me just how special jewellery can be and they, as well as this story hold a special place in my heart."

Kagi has grown from the humble beginnings of Kat working at home creating bespoke pieces to now being proudly stocked in over 300 outlets across Australasia and loved by women worldwide.

She said: "Every woman has what it takes to be fabulous, and Kagi is about giving you the tools so you can do just that. So let your own style shine, as no-one does it better.”
